Myan qualified in 2003 as a NZ trained teacher and did a Post-Grad B.Education in 2004.
Combining his business experience and his academic qualifications, he went into lecturing the New Zealand Diploma in Business at various institutes around Auckland. Also guest lecturing for various other institutes in the areas of Call Centre, Theology and Employment Coaching.
In 2009, he wrote the auto-biography for former All Black, Inga Tuigamala, following it up with autobiographies for former Springboks, Pierre Spies (2011) and Jannie de Beer (2014). Also, Olympic Gold medallist swimmer, Chad Le Clos (2014).
In 2012, Myan returned to South Africa and was based at University of Pretoria, High Performance Centre (HPC). Here he assisted with life coaching and mentoring their Olympic Athletes and players/coaches from there then professional soccer team, AmaTuks.
